Coastal Cleanup Day in Eckernförde

320 students and numerous supporters cleared the beach of garbage on International Coastal Cleanup Day in Eckernförde. The annual litter collection campaign allows us to contribute to marine conservation and environmental education. Also at the start: divers and SUP boards to ensure less pollution in and under the water. The campaign is organized by the Bundesverband Meeresmüll e.V. and Eckernförde Touristik und Marketing GmbH. The project was also initiated by the Ocean Conservancy and supported by the NGO. This gives us access to a central database in which the collected data on litter is entered.
