Educational materials for schools
Together with the International OCEAN Film Tour - the most important ocean cinema tour in Europe - we develop and operate the educational platform Ocean Lovers Education.
Ocean Lovers Education offers educators free access to current films and related educational materials on the topic of marine conservation. In cooperation with the International OCEAN Film Tour, a cross-thematic online platform for the education sector has been created. In line with the selected films from the tour, we offer qualified educational materials for lessons or project weeks to promote the topic of the ocean competently in the classroom.
The high-quality films produced by the International OCEAN Film Tour can be used free of charge by teachers, lecturers, associations and environmental projects in a non-profit context and for educational purposes.
Environmental issues are dealt with in an exciting and entertaining way. The educational films actively contribute to educating and strengthening the environmental awareness of children, young people and adults with regard to the protection of the sensitive ocean and its inhabitants. The films, which are between 15 and 45 minutes long, are constantly supplemented with teaching materials and background information.
So far, the topics of biodiversity, fisheries, plastic waste and climate change are available.
