SeaExperience Days
Experience the Baltic Sea up close: many families and tourists take their time on vacation and are particularly receptive to sustainable information about the sea. The ten-day event in the picturesque Niendorf fishing port aims to inspire people all over Germany to protect the sea through visitors on site.
The modules range from guided beach walks to workshops, information tents, an attractive outdoor cinema program and small research expeditions with our research vessel ALDEBARAN for interested vacation children.
During the SeaExperience Days in Niendorf, both adults and children have the opportunity to get to know the Baltic Sea and its inhabitants together with us. During guided beach walks, the BeachLab, the whole family becomes marine explorers. The most beautiful finds from the beach are examined more closely under binoculars and aquariums and lots of exciting things are discovered. At the SailingLabs on the research vessel ALDEBARAN, children can learn the basics of scientific work on the ship and experience the Baltic Sea habitat up close during experiments.
