HUB Ocean wins the AI for the Oceans Award in Hamburg

Together with AI.HAMBURG, SMM Hamburg and Fórum Oceano, we presented the AI for the Oceans Award to HUB Ocean.

The final pitches of the AI for the Oceans Award finalists, Guilherme Beleza Vaz from blueOASIS, Tom Redd from HUB Ocean, and Vincent Opitz from Ocean OS, took place at SMM. The three finalists were selected by the AI for the Oceans Award jury from 70 applications using AI to improve ocean monitoring. The public vote went to Guilherme Beleza Vaz and his Hydro Twin, a cost-effective solution for continuous monitoring of important marine areas. The jury award went to HUB Ocean and its ocean data platform.
