The German Ocean Foundation is involved in shaping the European Ocean Pact, which may be presented to the public at the UN Ocean Conference in Nice in June 2025. 

The European Ocean Pact aims to become a vision for a holistic approach to ocean-related policies in Europe and to ensure synergies across all EU policies related to the ocean. The focus is on supporting resilient and healthy marine and coastal areas and promoting the blue economy.
