We are delighted about our new cooperation with the Theo and Liesel Bechtold Foundation

The non-profit Theo and Liesel Bechtold Foundation supports marine conservation and research projects around the world with the aim of raising young people's awareness of the ocean, the environment and climate change and getting them involved in science.

With their 50,000 euro donation, the German Ocean Foundation will be able to organize several research expeditions on board the ALDEBARAN this summer as part of the "Research at Sea" competition. Applications can be submitted until the end of March 2025.

The German Ocean Foundation and the Theo and Liesel Bechtold Foundation are looking forward to a good partnership and a successful marine competition "Research at Sea" in 2025.
