The German Ocean Foundation brings the ocean into the planetarium - and opens up new perspectives on the smallest and biggest secrets of our world. In an innovative pilot project, impressive images of microorganisms were produced in two workshops in Niendorf on the Baltic Sea using high-resolution cameras and state-of-the-art microscopes - in close collaboration with the team of experts from ZEISS.

The first results will be presented from April 9 to 13 at the ZEISS-Großplanetarium Berlin - as part of the "Invisible Worlds" theme days celebrating the 400th anniversary of the microscope.

The program is aimed at all age groups: In the planetarium hall, visitors can bring their own specimens or objects and marvel at them live and enlarged on the dome - including scientific explanations. In spectacular 360° fulldome shows, visitors can immerse themselves in the fascinating world of microorganisms and discover the hidden wonders of the underwater world.

Whether for school classes or families, this journey from the microcosm to the universe leaves no one indifferent.
