love your ocean - sustainability initiative at boot Düsseldorf
Marine and water protection has long been a top priority at the boot Düsseldorf water sports trade fair. "love your ocean" was launched in 2017 on the initiative of boot in partnership with the German Ocean Foundation and the Monegasque Prince Albert II. Foundation and the environmental activist Emily Penn.
Under the umbrella of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development, partners from business, science and society will showcase their innovations and pioneering projects and products. The initiative has become a Mecca for sustainability in water sports and, with its workshops, hands-on activities and stage program, a welcome source of information for all visitors to the world's largest water sports trade fair in Düsseldorf.

We spent nine days with our sustainability initiative "love you ocean" at boot Düsseldorf, the world's largest water sports trade fair - all under the motto of the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development.
Once again this year, we were able to have many inspiring conversations with our great partners and guests who shared their passion for sustainability, marine protection and innovation with us.
The variety of topics we were able to discuss shows that awareness of the need to protect our oceans and the search for sustainable solutions continues to grow.
